J\u00e1 T4, TX e FX identificam o meio f\u00edsico utilizado.<\/p>\n<p>O tipo T4 utiliza quatro canais de par tran\u00e7ado tipo telephone grade (UTP &#8211; categoria 3), suportando somente transmiss\u00f5es half-duplex. J\u00e1 o TX, utiliza dois cabos de par tran\u00e7ado tipo data grade (UTP ou STP &#8211; categoria 5), suportando transmiss\u00f5es a half-duplex ou full-dulpex. O FX utiliza fibra \u00f3tica, com transmiss\u00e3o a half-duplex ou full-duplex.
